      • Probably the best day we will get all year. 25C, no clouds, no humidity, no wind. It was almost like we were in San Diego😉 Some good work using our big rock slabs to build and clean up a bit of a mess wh Click image for larger version

Shots from a very cold workday for June 30. ruined castle complex improved with new cliff face bases and under the bridge has been made higher and wider to accommodate almost all tanks outside of the biggest new MBT. Also a new building and relocation of others and a bridge. Really coming together nice

                • Love it. There should be a thread just for RC Battlefield buildings and accessories like on RCTANKWARFARE. Fantastic job. Any shots of you making the buildings?

                    • Well the buildings are all Wojtek's creations. I'm just a shovel, pick axe, wheelbarrow grunt.😂😂😂

                        • Posting this mostly so we can remember during set up how the structures etc. are placed for battle days this year. But it does show the view we would have battling from the perimeters.

                          • Such a ridiculously cool battlefield! Silly question, because the field looks so large, At the beginning of a battle do tanks go tearing off in all directions like the beginning of a round of world of tanks or is there scale speed encouraged or rules or limitations?

Before my time I believe there was a problem with ultra fast tanks. But now with all the modifications and all the elevation changes, structures, tree cover etc a lot of the jack rabbiting is a thing of the past. It encourages the tanks to move without just sitting sniping but the starts are pretty slow speed as it's generally a cat and mouse game between teams trying to figure out a weakness to exploit. The field is constantly being tweaked. We noticed one corner that used to be great for sniping was no longer really being used because it didn't encourage movement except into a couple of traps so we modified it yesterday opening it up and cleaning up a ravine and a new structure and a couple of new cedars Click image for larger version
