Yes, I forget our discussion at the Merkava review thread. I assume that your Heng Xin came with the 390 red motors?

I was very tempted to try the higher end CNC gearbox for the Merkava. At the end, I could not convince myself what benefit they might have over the Heng Xin.

They did, just that the inside 1/2 of the starboard casing had a mis-drilled hole which did not align to the one on the mounting plate, instead of waiting for a replacement 1/2, I enlarged the index hole myself and fitted washers on top, otherwise, the sprocket won't align with the rest of the wheels by "just that much". Also had to fit some weights towards the rear as the Merkava is too front bias to start with. BTW, the Amazon seller shipped me a replacement 1/2 casing, guess what, none of the index holes were drilled, it was a blank.
