Rich Johnson's excellent search light kit. The vertical piece could use extra .2mm in height. When you install this piece make sure it clears the lens when installed. Highly recommended for extra details to your M60. Dai

It is a piece that is used for the HL "rotational" elevation unit. Your M60 uses a "lifting arm" type of unit.Originally posted by dai phan View PostI found this and I wonder where it goes in the recoil kit? Dai
HL has been switching over a majority of their tanks to having the "lifting arm" unit, but there are still many older tanks out there that use the "rotating elevation" units.
If you look at you BB unit that you removed from your M60 you will see a "hook" like protrusion on the top side back end. That is for the older "rotational elevation" units and what the extra part is intended for if needed. It simply is glued in place on the back top of the recoils breach.

I ordered the HL 7.,1 as well as the TX. Off hands, do you know if the channel mapping is the same? DaiOriginally posted by Rubicon99 View Post
That is because your specific TD MFU does not have the servo ports activated. Only the newer 3.0 version have them activated as a factory setting. The older 2.0 are random. That is why people recommend to swap out the stock TD MFU with an upgraded HL 7.1 MFU.

I can see why the LED would not put out so much light as the vertical piece would block it. I wonder why it is designed that way. It's designed that way to diffuse the light. These lights were Xenon gas discharge lights. They create a massive hot spot in the middle so the cover is there to diffuse that hot spot and create a tight pattern.Originally posted by dai phan View Post
