It is a trigger motor metal barrel recoil upgrade kit. The TK-7.0 MFU works perfectly fine with it. Use the transmitter radio to:
Turn off the track recoil.
Connect the trigger motor to CN6.
The barrel will recoil when you fire. It is NOT a servo recoil. I have trigger motor recoil on five of my HL tanks. It slaps back too fast. It is realistic enough for me.
The Sherman came from Heng Long is equiped with the 75mm gun, correct for its version. The longer 76mm gun with the flash muzzle is for the later era Easy 8 Sherman with HVSS suspension. You will need some upgrade to your tank too. RichJohnson markets 2 Easy8 upgrade kits for the HL Sherman, HVSS suspension ($235) and turrent ($145). It is easier than scrath build.
It may be much simpler to return the muzzle flash recoil kit and get a recoil kit with the 75mm cannon which is usually cheaper.
I did the recoil upgrade the difficult way. I got a generic recoil BB shooting unit (< $10) and cut the HL OEM barrel to fit. It works very well too.
