Those are 2 beautiful Crusaders, I have a self imposed moratorium on any more tanks but I've always loved the Crusader, Where do you get the decals from . I'm waiting to finish my 1/16 Conqueror and British decals are few and far between WW2 or Cold War

Are they proper decals or the awful HL/Taigen style stickers. They look great in the photos regardless

I was pleased at how well yours drove today at the San Diego battle event. Surprisingly smooth handling and quite running. 👍👍

They are dry transfers, but of very good quality. Backed with white to make them opaque, lined up correctly and no visible borders.

I always spray a layer of clear semi-gloss coat on the areas before applying these types of decals (HL, Taigen, TD or Coolbank). They stick on quite well. Then I spray the clear dullcoat to protect the tank and reduce the gloss.

What brand of clear dull coat spray do you use? I have not been able to find any brand that does not damage the Heng Long decals yet. Thank you for your help in advance.

Most commerical spray paint have a slight itching action to help adhesion. It turns out to be fatal to HL tank decals.

This is the bottle that I use. I don't shake and mix the bottle. I only use the top solution and discard to bottom portion. I use airbrush though.

I use the spray can version of Testors dull cote. It does not harm the decals, but the decals are still too shiny and show through.

Have you used the new version of Testors dull coat ? . Testors changed their lineup a few years ago.

How do I identify the new version of Testors dull cote? I usually get my model paints at Hobby Lobby at store.

When they dropped the Model Master and Pactra brands a few years ago some other model forums reported problems with new purchased Dullcote.
