A generic trigger motor barrel recoil is cheap and readily available. You will have to adapt your existing barrel from the Panzer III.

A metal servo recoil is significantly more expensive than the trigger motor one. There are many post about their difference that you can look up.

I have the trigger motor recoil on most of my HL tanks. Good enough for me. The adaptation includes cutting the existing barrel and tap a screw hole. It is easy if you are mechanically handy.

You can find some examples of the BB recoil adaptation in this thread. I no longer have the HL Panzer III. My work on a very old Pershing is as complicated as it can be. It should be much easier if your Penzer III is newer.
