The Lakota came today and was in perfect condition, it came double boxed both of which are extra thick cardboard. Each piece is individually bubble wrapped and the nose was in a nice foam protective holder.

Love the windows on the front of the fuselage. Got pilot figures ready to go?

I haven't started any cockpit work yet, I'm doing a "out of the box to flying" thread and video first then I plan to detail it out. All you need is a T-Rex 600E(RTF), 4 blade rotor head and blades and a few hours, all the raised-tail parts are included in the kit.

I started working on the Lakota today, I installed the raised tail pieces that came with the kit on my T-Rex 600E with no issues at all.

Once I setup the FBL I will remove the tail drive with tube from the elbow and then remove the elbow from the boom so I can install it in the fuselage.

Next I marked and drilled the tail boom and fuselage for the fasteners.

I drilled through the ribs as they were the thickest part of the boom.

I used Foam-Tac for the nutserts because it doesn't get brittle like epoxy or CA

I will use epoxy on the horizontals so I have drilled them for better adhesion.
