Hey all, I just recently received my 470 Roban Airwolf.
Having a helluva time getting the landing gear to cooperate.
It either doesn't want to fully retract, or after I make adjustments, it won't fully extend.
Part of the issue is that the grub screw isn't always in the ideal position to make the adjustments that I need.
I've watched every video I could find on this issue, but none of them help.
Also, while facing the helo, the main left side connector rod ( the long one) really arches when I retract the wheels. I've also tried to adjust it to no avail.
This thing is about to get introduced to a baseball bat!!
Any ideas, suggestions? Thanks in advance.

They fit nicely into the nearest trash receptacle. Good luck getting them off of the paper intact! They're useless!

I am having a problem with my Rotorscale Airwolf 470. have about ten flights on this heli but now it does not want to Take off . I may have messed with the End point adjustment on the transmitter. I wait on the slow blink green light Move the throttle stick right in down hit run and no blade spin up

ALL endpoints should say 100%. This is the primary reason why I don't unlock these TXs - for fear of screwing something up. Of all GPS helis I own that uses this TX, I feel they are all pre-programmed the way they were meant to be for that specific model and for most owners.

Is it possible to change the Radio? I prefer my Radiomaster TX16 and I think I want to use it with ELRS (may put my ELRS Gemini Rx for best link quality). Or maybe I can just bind it to the multiprotocol module? What do people think about using a different transmitter with this helicopter?

Just got a new 470 airwolf today, built it, put in my crossfire radio system and flew it. I am very happy and impressed with it. Didn't realize it is closer to a 500 size helicopter than 450. Very nice!

I have the Roban (Rotorscale) MD 500, 470 size and a Flywing 450 V2.5, which I installed into their Airwolf fuselage. Both fly amazingly well but I find the MD500's bigger size to fly a bit more stable, so you may find this as well when you compare the 470 Rotorscale to your 450 Flywing. There is a video that MotionRC put out about the retract mechanism getting loose and how to reset and fix it. Check Motion's YouTube channel.
Yes, these new GPS choppers are quite pricey but these are the only ones that I can fly. The pre-GPS helis were nearly impossible for me to fly beyond a short hover. I don't do 3D with them. I fly them in circuits and as such, I'm allowed to fly them with the other airplanes at the field. I started with just one GPS heli and said that was it. They are just too expensive. I now have 4, one more coming.

They look really cool slowed down. Im slowly upping my timer for flight time, im up to 8 minutes so far.

This has been reported earlier in this thread. Do you need it? Well, does the tail rotor hit the ground if the wire isn't there? If it doesn't, don't worry about it. If it does, you need the wire to protect the tail rotor when it's on the ground.
Is the wire too fat to fit into the hole in the tail? If so, drill it out a bit so the wire doesn't split the tail. Shove the wire in and then use some CA or epoxy squeezed into the crack and tape it shut till it's cured.

I don't think that's what "RTF" means but that's a topic for discussion in a whole other thread.

I put a h1 flight controller in my align 600 esp and when It's spooling up I have no movement in tail rotor servo with stick movement. Is this common until it gets airborne?
