Some pictures from NEFI today. The weather has been good in spite of a couple short showers. It is cooler and more comfortable because of it. A cross wind kicked up a bit today but it did not keep people from flying and at about 7 PM it got beautiful. I flew first thing this morning and later in the early evening. In between I fixed my Lippy and took pictures and video. Also got numerous Facebook Live videos up on TiredIron Aviation's Facebook page. The AMA got video of George flying his 700th consecutive days and even gave him a cake for it. Captain Mike arrived today with a FlightlineRC P-38 and Spitfire for the raffle and there are Motion RC hats, lanyards and stickers galore to give away. I got two awesome flights on my F-4J this evening which Mike filmed so I look forward to seeing the video of that. All in all just a fantastic day.

Today was a very busy day. We had numerous people stop and ask us questions about the products that Motion RC sells. I gave Chloe Allison Prince an opportunity to fly my F-86 Saber and she did a good job for her first time flying an EDF. Afterwards I gave her the plane and hope she continues to practice and improve. Captain Mike got some more good video of various planes flying while managing to squeeze in some flights of his own. The winds were a little higher today but straight down the runway so not really a problem. It remained overcast which kept the temperature down and we only had one little short rain shower. It has actually been so pleasant that I hardly broke a sweat.
Some pictures from today.
All of the pilots and AMA crew who came out to support this event. Proceeds went to the ARF animal rescue shelter.
The HobbySquawkers who came.
Chloe and April of Chloe's RC Safari on Facebook came out to fly with us.
Skip Kixmiller (skippykix) of Oakland, TN won a FlightlineRC Spitfire from Motion RC
and Bryan Liss from Indianapolis won the P-38.

Sorry, I never got any info. on it. We left at about 11:30 after getting packed up and putting in a couple flights. We had OV10 sign the bomber RV as well and then got some shots with Chloe, April and Jay Smith of the AMA.
Handing over the F-86 to Chloe. May it serve her as well as it has served me as she learns to fly EDF's.

Hey guys!
Figured I'd better chime in as we arrived in Waco, Nebraska about an hour ago, all is well so far, ran into some rain around Lincoln,Ne but its good here.
Nefi was awesome!!!!
The highlights:
Getting to meet George and Skippy!!:Goodbye::Goodbye:
Getting to finally meet Chris Savage, he kept showing up in the pics from the last two year and I never saw him there!!
Getting together with old friends like the Timber brothers, Captain Kevin, Steve, Boots, Lon and Mike,;)
But especially, getting to hang with my good buddy Charlie Brown:Cool::Cool::Cool:
After so many successful flights and pretty decent weather, I'm glad we pushed on.
So, I finally got to fly the Bearcat at Nefi and she did me proud, the Spitfire was being tricky, she's a different bird to fly, but I'll get it!!
Diane got her usual quota of pics, we watched them on the slide show program for over an hour last night. Those clouds made for some pretty dramatic pics, as you'll see, I just have to resize and do some editing when I get home.
I want to personally thank everyone for the wonderful three Nefi's we've been so fortunate to attend. If it hadn't been for you guys, my flying would not be as good as it is, so thanks so much for the guidance. Still a long way to go, but such a long way that I've come along.
So, to me it was only fitting that Diane and I flew La Patrona on my last flight over AMA HQ on Saturday evening. Did a wave to the crowd and a victory roll as a farewell. Brought her down to a perfect landing and taxied off....
Funds, being what they are, will not allow us to attend again and we both agreed that a 3250 mile return trip is getting to be a bit expensive, but you guys will be in our hearts and minds.:Crying:
Here's some humorous pics, or angles you'll seldom see...
and skies like this!
more to come later!!
