RE: My Tiger Moth Paint job
I balanced it first. I rubbed it with alcohol, then sanded it with 600 grit paper. I sprayed it with Krylon Bauhaus yellow. After it was completely dry, I used a brown sharpy marker to mark lines the length of one blade at a time. I then lightly sprayed alcohol onto a piece of paper towel and LIGHTLY rubbed the length of the blade. Experiment with the amount of alcohol and how you rub it. If you don't like what you've done, alcohol will remove the marker, and you can try again. Have fun! DocOriginally posted by CTOutstanding!! Look at you posting pics!! Wooohooo!!! Looks great Doc! I love the scheme...! I have seen that real world plane in a picture somewhere but I can't remember where... Oh wait... I know... There was one just like it in Flight Sim 2004 that someone painted and I always flew in the sim.Originally posted by doctormikeI used Krylon spray paint. I copied this from a full scale T.M.
