I balanced it first. I rubbed it with alcohol, then sanded it with 600 grit paper. I sprayed it with Krylon Bauhaus yellow. After it was completely dry, I used a brown sharpy marker to mark lines the length of one blade at a time. I then lightly sprayed alcohol onto a piece of paper towel and LIGHTLY rubbed the length of the blade. Experiment with the amount of alcohol and how you rub it. If you don't like what you've done, alcohol will remove the marker, and you can try again. Have fun! Doc

Look at you posting pics!! Wooohooo!!! Looks great Doc! I love the scheme...! I have seen that real world plane in a picture somewhere but I can't remember where... Oh wait... I know... There was one just like it in Flight Sim 2004 that someone painted and I always flew in the sim.

Thanks, FlyGirl! There must be hundreds of Tiger Moths still flying, and every paint scheme different. I made my living as an artist/ sculptor for 45 years. I'm finally using my experience on something I REALLY like! Doc

Oooooh.......she's a real looker Doc. I had a 2 meter Bird of Time (us older gents will even know what that is) with that scheme and always got great comments on it. She'll look even better up in the air!

I built a Thermic 72 freeflight glider when I was 16. I've always liked that polyhedral gull wing. Doc
