The Wright Flyers were all terribly unstable... Only years of practice controlling kite mock-ups allowed the Wright Brothers to succeed.
You especially do not want scale roll control, since it is wing warping with massive adverse yaw.
The airplane had "Anhedral" or reverse of dihedral... making it try to roll inverted when rudder was applied. Failure to coordinate the turn with rudder and wing warp was a guaranteed way to plant the airplane in the dirt.

No, you don’t. There’s nothing fun about an airplane that is looking for a place to crash.Originally posted by Pilotguy View PostI want a 1905 Wright Flyer(the world's first practical airplane and not a kit but a bind-n-fly or PNP. Can it please come in something like a 44" wingspan?

If you prefer a fixed gear warbird the Ju 87 Stucka might be your best bet as it would be guaranteed to sell well for a good return on the investment to develop it. If they are able to include the dive siren it would be a hot seller.Originally posted by Cws View Post

I would certainly buy an A 26 and if they were to make an FW 190 and a WW 2 Corsair, all in the 1600 mm size I would order all three of them as soon as they announce them.Originally posted by vrosi1963 View PostA silver A26 would make sense from flightline with interchangeable gun nose and clear nose

I like the idea of a CL-415 but it would have to have retracts and be able to carry a load of water to air drop it. Heck you can even see the open drop doors open at the bottom.

The main added cost of the contra rotation is the second ESC. Second is machining the hollow shaft and the rear prop mount.
They don't have to be as expensive as they are... Mass production in large numbers would cut the cost. So far there has not been high enough demand.
