Hey! Maybe "foil" has something to do with gold foil, bonded to a canopy. Extend when you can, turn when you must!

Could not say no to a Prowler conversion either!
But, must admit I think Foil is an F-100, like most seem to.

What if "Foil" means something like the Hughes XF-11?

Sorry if I missed something, but where did y'all here Project Foil get mentioned? I can't find any mention of it on Motion's site or here (except for this thread).

                  thanks

                    In this thread:

Alpha said it is definitely an EDF, but that's all the info we have.

Hey, I think the F-117 uses gold foil in some places. Maybe we are getting a twin 80mm F-117? OOOOOOOooooooh yaaaaaa!

I think I came up with something! How about the WB-57? So this was in the write up about the development of the aircraft; "The production aircraft were further modified with new TF33-P-11A engines that delivered even greater thrust than those of the prototypes. Foil systems developed in 1962 for the WC-130B to collect particulate debris from nuclear tests were installed in the bomb bay and the fuselage beside the cockpit". Just running down the ideas ALPHA. This could make a pretty good EDF and stable but unique aircraft.

Can't remember what thread it was that Alpha talked about the Canberra and the engineering challenges that the wing/nacelle intersect posed for EDF inclusion.
It would be the first twin EDF bomber though.

OV10, you could use a plastic spar carryover much like the original. Or simply make a short front spar and a short rear spar insert with the edf pocket?
