This was my 1st EDF and man, it's come a long way since that first flight. Haven't had to do any "repairs" for quite a while now. 2 point high alpha landings have finally become the norm. I think it flies better than the Avanti and just as easy, but it wasn't always so. Can't believe how bad I was when I first got it!
And I love the sound of the 12 blade EDF (and the 12 blade inrunner in my F-16). One of the turbine guys at the field said they both sounded almost like a turbine. On the other hand, the 9 blade stock outrunner in the F-4 sounds like
in comparison, way to whiny. But damn, the F-4 does fly nice, so I just put my headphones on and listen to a little Country while I'm flying the F-4!
