Thanks for the explanation WB. Must be a very nice lens to pick up all of that. Obviously the way to go if you want an first class video instead of those dots in the sky, non edited, crap -- yes I know I don't have to watch and I don't any longer than the five seconds it takes to realise what is coming. Nice F-15, sold mine as thought it marginal on 6S and I am not an 8S guy. Can you post pics/facts of your camera and its mounting set up ? It looks like it could pan but is that just your editing? Thanks.

thx guys, haha... that was funny brk6! A difficult task for sure.
The camera records in 360 and the view selection is done post edit. It is both complicated and simple at the same time. Using the camera for raw footage is the simple part. The edit is the more difficult part.
I placed a raw version of that flight video on my YouTube for those interested to play back and move the camera around to their favorite scenes.
I think the raw format makes it difficult for people to see what you want them to see because there are just too many options as you can choose any direction at any time during viewing. The result is that if you only watch the raw version one time, you will miss everything that happened behind you, lol.
Here is the link to the raw vid. Its interesting, but I think you will see what I mean.

Wow, most enjoyable video posted for a long time. How do you land yourself whilst looking back at an F-86 landing behind/beside you ???

Hello Gents, I'm a long time RC pilot and have had an RCGroups account as well as YouTube for quite a while now. Recently several folks have suggested that I might consider joining Hobby Squwk too. Some of you I recognize already, but I would like to say hello to this thread first as I have been working my A-4 as a camera ship and flying it the most recently. This video shows where my mind is with RC if you don't know me.

After a year and a half I've finally cleared off enough previous projects to get around to unboxing and assembling my FW A-4.
I've always liked the unit insignia of VMA-324 but the limited availability of decent art work forced me to take what was available, mostly via photographs and Photoshop my own. I've only found one photograph of an A-4E with the unit "Devil Dog" insignia so this is the aircraft I depicted. Other than national insignia and nomenclature all markings are waterslide. White stripes on rudder are hand painted after red spray paint. Overall satin clear coat.

Gotta be A or B. A says it's for the 80mm jets, but I think I might have an extra B so I'll give that a shot.

I'm pretty sure it's the type B https://www.motionrc.com/products/fr...nt=19073358278

Mine is the shiny metal one which I think is common to many of the Freewing 80/90mm EDF nose gear units. Probably cannot buy as a separate item ?

Anyone happen to know the type of steering arm for the nose gear? I'm not seeing it on the parts list and the extra Type F I have is too large.

In regards to cheater holes. You can cover it with some screen door material for a better look. It still allows all the airflow but keeps out rocks and it paintable to match the fuselage.
