I just got a replacement ESC and brake controller for one of my F-16s from them.

The company that is sneaking up on MotionRC is HSD. They apparently have had it with their US distribution resellers. They are opening their own warehouse in California starting in November. They are stocking all their planes and replacement parts there. Their website is HSDgo.com I ordered a replacement servo and got it from them in three days because the warehouse is up but the website is not quite ready. The reason I bring this up is they make very good large scale jets and now they have the parts. I have an HSD V2 F-16 12s in the TB scheme and it's a great machine to fly and very rugged on grass take offs and landings. I have the Freewing 80mm A-10 and it is a fantastic bird to fly. Competition is good for all of us. I would like to see Freewing, through MotionRC, get some of these larger twin 80 or 90 mm F-18s or F-4s and others. I can't get excited about 25 different versions of a 70mm jet, they all get to look and behave the same after a short time. When you get into these larger scale birds, it's a trip. Most of us out here would love to grab hold of a large twin 80mm jet the size of the A-10. Every time I fly one of those big birds it feels great and I am challenged to fly something bigger and faster.
MotionRC is the best! I just don't want them to miss out on an opportunity. HSD is not bringing those large scale planes to the US because they think it is a very limited market for planes that size.
GO MOTIONRC!

A 70mm twin F-18 would be awesome or single 80 mm. My real hope is a single 70 or 80 mm fan T-38.
I have sold off all of my Mrc 90 mm jets, there great flyers but 2-21/2 minute flights are not for me. Battery technology just ain't there for the 90 mm fans.I recently purchased the 70 mm Alaskan F-16 and they knocked it out of the park on that one, I think the 70 and 80 mm fans on 6s are the best fit for the current battery technology.

I guess it is a Fiat G-91. It was done before by Sebart, so this is kinda a re-release.

Yeah but their 262 has issues, the canopy is the wrong shape, the wing shape inboard of the nacelles is wrong, it has split flaps and it is covered with hundreds of raised rivets, which the original definitely wasn’t.Originally posted by F106DeltaDart View Post
They already have a nice twin 70mm ME-262.. And personally I wouldn't call the 105 or 106 obscure.
The 262 is such an iconic jet it deserves to be done well and I’m sure Freewing could get it really right next time with Motion’s input.

I second that list !Originally posted by seaviper View PostI hope they continue with the 80mm units. The hornet would be amazing on twin 80's. These 80mm power systems have the right combination of thrust to weight, run time on our present batteries, and price.
Personally I would like a Panther, Cougar (two seat trainer please), A-7 SLUF, F-4 Rhino, F-101 Voodoo, F-100 Hun, Jaguar, or Viggen. Although I am partial to US Navy types.

[QUOTE=dlewton;n98598]How about an F101 Voodoo for something different. I have never seen one offered from anyone and they are super cool. Heck will all need to have some fun with the "pitch up" tendencies of the F101

I like the twin 80mm F4 in camo. Make it a special scale model with details like the A-10.

Anyone have a guess at when a big jet might be called to be released? Not sure how many/yr Freewing normally likes to produce. Any excuse to spend more money.

I was thinking a 70mm F-18 for newbies like myself so I can work my way up to the 90mm jet :)

How about a hoover? Don't see many of those in RC. (That would be the S3 for you land lubbers)

Only the F8 Crusader had the pop up change of incidence wing which would be cool to have an RC model with the actual functional wing. But then again the A-7 Corsair was the newer optimized design. The A-7 also had two of my favorite liveries, the Sidewinders and The Fist of the fleet.

Bravo Zulu on the super corsair. Clearly a pavement only plane with its big FOD collector and low profile stance. Love the A7 and the F8 Crusader with the pop up change of incidence wing. Wish I flew off pavement.
Give me a really nice F4 Phantom 1/9 scale in the 80mm line up. Would look great chasing the Mig-21 around .
