Please excuse all the noise, we had a crowd at the fly-in (which is a good thing).

Thanks Hawk you're going to love it. I just pulled the trigger as well. I got the strutgades as well. Can't wait! We can't let the Captain have all the fun can we?

I'm in. Found a way to rub 2 nickels together and ordered the Arf+. Talked with expert reviewers Rcjetdude, Pilot Ryan and Captain Mike and they all give it rave reviews. Good enough for me!

Gonna transplant my 2200kv 14B XRP from my F16 v2. I love the wide stance and yes, the lights are a nice bonus.

Looking forward to getting this girl in the air!

    Hawk

Thank you as always to our pre-order customers. We're pleased to be able to ship out the Freewing 70mm Hawk T1 three weeks earlier than the "Mid-November" ETA that we posted on the product page. Your faith in us is deeply appreciated! Whenever possible, we try to minimize the waiting time between pre-order start and product arrival. I'm glad we produced these back in July and had them waiting in the wings.

Show us what you do with yours!

Well, Christmas came early! Just want to let you all know that the Hawk's have arrived in the warehouse and are available for purchase now! Pre-orders have started shipping, so you all should be able to be flying these birds very soon! We especially can't wait to see what everyone does to their base gray schemes.

    Happy flying!

This will be available early November. Upon release the landing gear and all spare parts will be available as well. We will be sure to let everyone know here and throughout our social channels when it is off pre-order and in stock.

I had a blast flying my gray version today. I am seeing over 6 minute flights on the RT 5800 35C battery. It comes down barely warm with 30% left on it. It has a lot more power than I realized so you end up flying around at 1/2 throttle but it is there when you want it. Today was mostly just opening it up to see what it could do. Off a Geotex surface it is airborne in 100' with half flaps and will climp out of sight at a 45 degree angle. I think it is a good combination of fan/motor for the size/weight of the plane. This is my first experience with a 70mm EDF but I am more than pleased with it. It doesn't have the level of detail that the FMS 80mm Hawk has but it is $100 less and every bit as fast it not faster.

Nice video George. You really need to teach me how to use your big camera so I can get video of your flights.

Excellent! I look forward to seeing what you do with it. I have begun working on my Blue Angels A-4. Yesterday I installed the fan and ESC.

Just realized you showed the photo next to the A-4 in an earlier post Ryan. Guess it's about the same size. Numbers are one thing but photos of it up next to other planes and people make a difference. Showing the plane taxiing around next to other planes and objects really gives one a better sense of the size than just the plane all by itself.

I'm considering pulling the trigger because I have some cool ideas on paint schemes for this one. I think it would make a great proficiency (squadron hack) bird. But still on the fence....wish I could pre-order the gear too.

Thanks Steve. That would be awesome.

I know we got video of if flying at TT. I will see if TI can maybe get it published soon. The wire struts don't really bother me especially at the price point for it. I will get some measurements on the wheels.

Also I would like to see a picture of the Hawk up next to the A-4 if anyone has one.

The wire gear are basically a show stopper for me though. What size are the wheels? Any idea on when the suspension gear will be available?
The gear should arrive when the planes do. Steve said his gray one went fine off the grass at Triple Tree.
