You will find the SIG T-Clips will fly quite well on EP. I know several fellows who also went w/elec. motors on 4S & are quite happy with performance. I also fly all electric since it is best for me & where I fly. I have several balsa EP planes that I really like & fly absolutely superb. The only downside you may find is if a balsa gets into a crash as those foamies previously posted, more than likely it will be firewood/toothpicks.

My hangar consists of all electric foam & balsa planes of varying genres since I like to fly the day as a "what am I in the mood to fly today?". I have trainers, warbirds, EDF's, gliders, & one water plane, the HK Skipper. My EDF's are hand-launch as the fields I fly are grass & not particularly ideal for EDF t/o's & landings. I sold off all my planes smaller than 1100mm w/s(excluding the Stinger64 EDF) as I like the larger models for visual & wind management. As far as the discussion that balsa flies better than foam, I don't see a marked difference with the planes I fly. My balsa Gentle Lady EP glider is close, although won't soar as well as my Radian, so does it really matter? My worse crash was the 1100mm F4U blue/yellow warbird & I didn't take any pics. I lost it on maiden due to a "senior moment" forgetting to start the Tx timer & trying to get away from a cornfield & lost battery to LVC & stalled it. Broke starboard wing completely off, both AIL & FLAPS torn off, both LG hanging off, VERT STAB broken off, prop broken, & broken firewall. Yup, the walk-of-shame. All the fellows asked if I was going to put it in the trash barrel. Nope.....had it all back together & repainted in 3 days. If that warbird was balsa, it would not have survived. Here's some pics of some of my hangar residents with (8) others still in boxes.

Here is my latest target. A 1/35th scale Minekaze Destroyer. It has an FPV LED machine gun on the #4 gun house. Took a two weeks to finish. Made almost completely from salvaged foam from trash bins. Only thing I bought were the mast dowels.
