Welcome Saint!
You've come to the right place. There's a great bunch of guys here on the forum and they are all willing to share their knowledge. And just as they said, fly that simulator if you can every day and before you know it you will react to the plane with out even thinking about it. Good luck and good flying.

Yea. I will be purchasing it soon and plan on at least an hour a day set aside for it. Have a wife and man cubs or it would be longer....lol. I am now looking at the corsair and the wild cat..... USMC thing lol. Honor, Courage, Commitment. Appreciate all you guys and will let you know how it goes. Sorry for taking time away from the topic of this thread. Will look around and post up in the appropriate place.Sponsored by:

Hey, don't worry too much about the drift slightly off topic. The goal is to get you to where you can fly a warbird like the P40 or the F4U or whatever you dream of.
You'll get there, we'll help all we can.
BTW, don't know if you have shopped around for a place to buy your planes, but you probably realize that a lot of us if not all, buy on line from Motion R/C.
Don't take this as a sale job and it doesn't matter here where you buy from, but these guys are veterans based as well and the service is by far second to none. They're worth a good hard look at when you go to purchase.

Yea.... I will be shopping at my local shop as well as motion. Ground control here in yucca has a lot of the same products. Also love the fact that motion r/c is veteran owned. Love that motion has a lot of spare parts listed.... hmmmm must know that flyers will most likely need them lol.Sponsored by:

Just ordered a set of Small Parts CNC retract sides. I talked to Terry and he said that the ones for the FMS 1400 mm Corsair should work, I'll keep everyone posted, this would make it the perfect bird.
Any news on when stock is going to show up. I need a new nose and some prop blades, would be nice to fly her again....

The eyes are simply a paper print I did a while back. The PDF I did is on RCG located on the P40 thread and on my blog page if you want to print them off.Originally posted by mburton47 View PostHey Brandon, where did you get the eye decals? I never cared for the look of the eye that is supplied. Did you apply the new decal over the original?
Thanx
Mark
I just removed the old eye and used the stock contact glue to adear them and then covered them in hobby coat to protect them....easy peasy. ;)Brandon Moon
