On my last plane i used vinyl rivets but i wanted to try something different this time. I 3D printed different size rods and i dip them in glue. I did one of the wings in about 30 minutes and the fuse took about 1 hour. It worked very well .I have attached the paint scheme i will do with a slight variation of some of the markings.Originally posted by Aros View PostReally nice job so far. What is that method you are using for rivets?

Hey Katniss,Originally posted by Katniss View PostLooked through the manual and it's unfortunate that it shows there are not oil cooler flaps. That's one scale feature that should not have been left out.
I was pretty interested in this plane up until seeing this oversight.
CMPs version had them(in fact had the upper wing sections as well).
ESM had them on the giant scale version also.
Looks like a nice plane, too bad really the inner flaps are MIA.
Do you mean the wing mounted radiator flaps like the Spittie?
I think the oil cooler is mounted in the lower fuselage.
I'd need to research that.
In any event, seems like an easy mod for a large airframe no matter where these are located.
I would like to see a 1600mm to 1800mm version by FlightLine one day.
Best, LB
