      Just a quick mock up i still need to paint the canopy and a yellow band on the fuse, cowl and wingtips and i am making the markings now.

                                Looking good. Just the right amount of contrast. I always cringe when I see people over do their weathering and panel lines (like stark black panel lines. No full size plane I’ve ever seen has black panel lines).

                                  Thanks its more difficult with the white color to not go overboard with the weathering. I use pencil lead and shave it with an exacto blade to get a powder . I then use a cotton swap to apply it and a damp paper towel to lighten it and streak it.

                                    Great technique! I don't have an airbrush system so I'm always on the lookout for non-airbrush methods.
