Here's an image of the almost finished frame with the differentials.I hope to get back to work on it after my Tongde M24 is finished.
I initially had only 1 static M8 Andy's HQ armor car. I wanted it to be RC. I handed it to my buddy Carlos and asked him to convert it into RC for me. It was too fragile for him to do it. So he decided to print one out, installed the RC set and gave it to me. Such a great pal. Now I have 2 M8 armor cars.

    • First time messing around with ChatGPT. Asked for a Mad Max style. Not the same as running them, and taking proper photos. But a bit of fun.

OMG!!! David, that's an amazing RC 3DP M8 Greyhound!!! Are the tire/wheels 3DP as well, or what and where did Carlos get them??? That's what I want for my M8. Yes, the kit is very fragile, but I'll be extra careful with it when I get it running not to crash into anything!!! It's great to have talented friends who can help us out, isn't it?

OMG!!!!! Meter Rat!!!!! That Tiger is even more brutal than the original!!!!!!!!!!!! LOLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All the spikes make me think of the M4 Shermans that were used by the US Marines in the PTO during WW-II. They had nails welded all over the turrets and hatches to keep the Japs off of the tanks. I'm willing to bet quite a few were shish kabobbed on those nails!!!

Let’s just get one thing straight. I’ve never been a Tiger guy, or a Sherman, or WW2 person. I only built this because I was bullied.

Just to prove I really don’t like them. I did a second one as a family member tribute. Tiger 1 captured by the Sherwood Rangers at Rauray France.

David, I'm sure you're driving your M8 around, how is the traction with the 3DP tires? If it is, maybe I could get away with using Andy's model kit wheels/tires for a short time. I'm hoping that Torro will have the M16 wheels/tires for sale as spare parts.

                      • Here's an off topic question that I couldn't find an answer for, so I thought this would be a good thread to ask. I see many threads that have been liked. How is a thread given those likes??? I don't see a way to do it!!!

Please check out post #1572 that my friend had a video clip on the M8. The wheel is all in one piece.

                              • Tang, thank you very much for posting M8 the video. It makes we want to finish the M24 ASAP and get back to working on it until it's finished!!!

Are you the friend of David who 3DPed that M8? If so, you did a great job.

The one you saw in the video clip was the second one that my friend Carlos printed. That one was for Tommy. Tommy brought his to our 7/5/26 event and drove around with it. Mine was the third one :-). About Tang's, he converted his Andy's M8 to RC just like you. He could show you his own process.

Yes, after reading this, I remember you said Carlos is the one making the 3DP M8's. I'd like to see how Tang did his M8. Does Tang have a build thread here, or on another site?

Eventually, I'll share my M8 Greyhound build here. I have tons of photos & videos. I don't think it will have a control board. It will run using an ESC and the RC Transmiter/Receiver.

OK David, you don't have to twist my arm, or give me a golden invitation!!!!!! LOLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Later today after I finish the yard work, I'll start an M8 Greyhound RC Conversion build thread. I don't like to have too many things going at the same time. But I have more than enough photos & videos to get the build up to where it is now. So, stay tuned in later and check out the beginning of the build!!!
