William Fraden OK, got your email and here is your photo..
Looks like you have a 5 pin 5 wire harness AND a 2 pin 2 wire harness. Is this correct?

Ok it’s simple. Yes you have six wires. Just remove one of the outer wires on the four wire harness and discard it. Now you will have a three wire harness and a two wire harness.Originally posted by William Fraden View Postits a 3 plug. I was told I would have to make a hole for a 5 wire plug.
You will still need to remove the HL 3 pin connector and enlarge the whole to fit all five wires and secure them to form a mount that the IR receiver plugs into.
Just make sure the positive, ground and signal wires are in the correct location on both the IR receiver and in the MFU slots. Take a photo of them prior to unplugging from the MFU. This will help ensure you know which one goes where.
**HL uses red for power, white for signal and black for ground.

Just curious about the stock HL battle system 6.0. Just getting back into this hobby after 10 plus years. Back then we all had Tamiya Tanks with a few hand built tanks. All with Tamiya systems. I just got my second HL tank to I can practice ( T34 and Panther both pro models). Tried them out in the house in semi dark room and dark room. Well it's nothing close to what I remember with my Tamiya tanks. we could hit each other across the back yard. The HL system it's 2-3 ft and that's it. Lucky I have the Lego system coming for the second tank (panther). When it shows up both tanks will get the same system with the HO emitters. If these shot like the video it will be great and I can start to promote these things again. Presently working on a tunnel and looking for old doll houses for a town.
