Whoa! Thank you for mentioned about that part! I should look it up and order the Notek for it. The metal barrel that came with the Takom kit is metal but it is a solid piece. Therefore, I had to use the hollow plastic one so I could push the launching LED wire to the muzzle brake.

Man, that's too bad, thought the metal barrel is hollowed out. Well, can't really tell once painted.

Before painting the whole tank dark yellow, I decided to add the skirt last night. 1 sheet and a few sticks of polystyrene. A $4 project :-).

DN, That is just awesome. Interesting build, I think. I like the idea of taking a detailed model kit and scratching out the rc mechanics. Capital "E" for effort here, Sir. Looking forward to seeing more. Best, LB

Got the camo paint done last nite. Will work on weathering tonite. Since it is a kit and the torsion bars are plastic so it will be my indoor tank. No going to work tomorrow so I will have time to work on it more and hopefully this stug will be ready to roll around the house by tomorrow night.

I got the weathering done last night. The decals and the drybrush were done on this morning. I will give it about half a day before putting the dullcote on.

The ordered Mato notek arrived. I took the old one out, drill 3 holes and installed it in. It lit up. I will touch up the mess and paint it later. Thank you for the idea!
