That only applies to the TK 7.0. We can only play up to 7 or 8 tanks with the 7.0 boards in each battle. I have to use many of my old tanks with the 6.0 boards to avoid the cross binding issue. And the 6.0 board doesn't have that feature.

Why not just turn off track spin aka 360 spin / neutral steering. Its a simple option to program via the TX and will stay in effect even if another TX is bound to the tank.
