Clark Wiring

I'm moving a TK-50 from one tank to another. I need new motor wires for the harness. I have plugs that fit the motor sockets, but they are pre-wired, and the wire is quite thin, 22ga I believe.

Edit: Found the printing (so faint) on the wires; 18 gauge. That and JST-XH female connectors ordered.

MotioRC sells the whole cable set including the volume control unit for a very reasonable price....The volume unit in the Clark's system is the same as the one in the Torro/Taigen.

I jumper the volume pins and just go full volume because I and out of knobs long ago.

That's what I have now too. I just wanted to quiet it down on the bench, but not turn it off completely.

You can go to their website then screen capture what you need. The TK40 & 50 are esentially wired the same.

Notes on the 8-pin connector:

Turret rotation + and - pins are not labeled as it doesn't really matter which is which being a motor connection. It can be swapped freely to get the right motor directions.

The MG and front headlight LEDs share a + feed, but have their own - ground feed.



General Notes:

CN6 and CN7 are the primary motor feeds and the + and - can be on either pin depending how your motors are wired. They can be swapped freely to get the right motor directions.

Cannon flash LED is for a standard 3mm or 5mm LED flash and not the Taigen high intensity flash. High intensity goes into CN3.

Ground wire (black) for the servo connections is closest to the edge of the board.

I've never fused any of my Clark board power inputs, but you can if you like. I don't think many have.

Must program the board with the Sony remote to use the servo recoil and servo elevation or they will act really weird. That weirdness has burned out servos before.
