Such a ridiculously cool battlefield! Silly question, because the field looks so large, At the beginning of a battle do tanks go tearing off in all directions like the beginning of a round of world of tanks or is there scale speed encouraged or rules or limitations?

Posting this mostly so we can remember during set up how the structures etc. are placed for battle days this year. But it does show the view we would have battling from the perimeters.

Shots from a very cold workday for June 30. ruined castle complex improved with new cliff face bases and under the bridge has been made higher and wider to accommodate almost all tanks outside of the biggest new MBT. Also a new building and relocation of others and a bridge. Really coming together nice

Probably the best day we will get all year. 25C, no clouds, no humidity, no wind. It was almost like we were in San Diego😉 Some good work using our big rock slabs to build and clean up a bit of a mess wh ere the river/channel meet and a few random tank shots

Cedars provide good cover for the apple from the IR when moving locations in the open

Riverbank road below cathedral into what will be a new fairly large townsite in that area.

New rock cliff features as new river banks. Helps stabilize the glacial till from rolling into the river during this endless rain. Hopefully we can over the course of the year use some more of the large rocks to improve the field

Field is starting to come together despite the continuous miserable,cold,wet weather we've been dealing with. Lots of new features this week like a redesigned Monte Casino, some nice new structures on castle hill and especially the new large rock cliff features along the new river cut and gradual replacement in areas of the fake trees with cedars.
