Today although a scheduled Battle Day it turned into more ofa workday on the field due to rain and very lush vegetation that resulted, Definitely some enjoyable battles as we now move into the interior field that used to be a suicide move before all the new stuff was put in and some very nice photo ops. The first 3 are of Sandy's Tamiya Centurion. His images. The first one is like whoa. It could have been a cover art for a model kit

I gotta be honest, I'd tell my Wife I need the flamethrower for the club or yard work or some project but, I'd get it just for fun...

Not sure I want to take my chances with a $60 Chinese flamethrower. This poor little guy decided he liked our field overnight. No idea what happened here

Worked on the field today. Unfortunately with all the rain it has become a very lush environment. I tore all the weeds out and re-tamped down the soil of a large part of the area south of the river. Everything was either a jungle or a lawn. Didn't have time to tear all the area by the POW camp up. Went round the bricked roads and weeded but all the outer perimeters now are just a huge weed patch so we are going to need to do some work before battling on Saturday. The sign says the culvert will be getting replaced on Three Bridges from July 19 for 3 days south of Bo de Lane so I think we will have to drive in from Henry Street and go down Three Bridges on Saturday.

Redesign of the old Monte Cassino hill. This is just great. Great new structure, removal of the uglier larger rocks and all the surrounding roads have been cleaned of gravel and a new soil layer laid and tamped down. This is going to be a lot of fun.

For my first battleday out with the Bulldog, it performed flawlessly and was a beast on the battlefield. Too bad I accidentally went out of bounds on the 2nd points battle.
