Yeah it's unfortunate. I caught that stuff an just wonder why there needs to be drama. We have a common bond, RC tanking hobby. Lets just all have fun.

Every place is pretty much toxic these days unfortunately. The internet gives people the ability to say things they wouldn't say to a person's face.

Anyway...glad WPL made the trailer. Just wish they would've made it a little larger so a wider range of vehicles could use it.

Luckily the trailer can be modified easily, side extensions would be really easy and they use those on real low boy type equipment trailers. There is also a guy a on FB that has designed a bolt on extension in the middle.

Looks like I'll have to keep this going..... Here's a few pics of my Tamiya M26 Pershing. It's still running the Tamiya kit electronics, very good running model!

Thank you! That texture was actually done with Tamiya putty thinned with Tamiya thin cement, that wa a bit of a pain and a mess.....much easier to use the MR500 these days.

                What is MR500?
The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!

I think he means Mr. Surfacer 500 which is good. But I discovered Mr. Hobby Dissolved Putty on my last build. It makes texturing rusty exhausts just perfect in like 5 minutes dabbing with a stipple brush. I imagine it would be really good for casting textures as well

Yeah, I have used Mr. Surfacer 1500, 1000, and 500. I find that they aren't usually rough enough unless you really build them up besides being expensive for how much is in the bottle. I also build 1/10 and 1/6th scale tanks so it definitely doesn't work well enough for my taste to make texture for those. That liquid putty looks interesting though.

Try this mix model cement with Bondo cream that comes in a tube. Bondo creme is 9 dollars for a huge tube.. I just squeeze a little of each onto a pallet and mix, then stipple with a acid brush

The 500 works great for cast texture, of course depending on the texture your going for, you may have to build it up a bit and work it the way you want it to look. Here is Mr. Surfacer 500 on the Tongde M60A3 turret, I think it gave it the exact look I was aiming for. The pic is after Tamiya fine gray primer and Nato Green basecoat. This was actually my first time using this stuff...it was so much easier in my opinion.

Here's a few more pics of the M60A3, it's all back in one piece now, Nato Green basecoat done, just have some details to do then the camo. Was waiting for a some parts to rebuild my airbrush since it's been giving me trouble and I dont want to risk messing this up after all that work.

Finally got the airbrush sorted and was able to get the camo done this morning on the M60A3. Fairly please with how it turned out.

Well....since I had the airbrush going today, decided to camo the WPL B16 that I got awhile ago to go with the M60. It will get some weathering as well.
