Got another one for you. This showed up on Toucan's site:
Looks like a new company. Toucan lists 3 variants of the HVSS and 3 VVSS variants. The one I pictured above is....$412 plus shipping. Ouch! However specs include the following:
Tank with full metal chassis, tracks, sprockets, idlers, return rollers, suspension bars, road wheels machine gun and barrel.
Infrared System
Driving Gearbox
Barrel Lifting System
Turret Rotating Gearbox
Speaker
Mainboard
360 Degree Rotating Electric Slip Ring
Smoke Unit
Remote Controller and Receiver
Charger
Tank Battery
Too much on my plate for this one. Perhaps someone else wants to gamble? I'll try to find more info...The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!Comment

I have so many EZ8s that I have built, including my own henglong conversion kit, but I might get one just to test it out.RC tank parts and accessories I make

What bugs me about this on their site is that the item number starts with "HH". I'm thinking that means "Hooben Hobby". From the description, it sounds like a Hooben tank. I know the price is slightly less than Hooben, but that is my fear for the HVSS version. I hope I get proved wrong and that it's a good tank, but I'm not holding my breath. :)Got another one for you. I had the Hooben E8. It's definitely not the Hooben but could be an improved version? The Hooben did not have BB options, metal tracks or bearings. It also was nowhere near as nicely modeled/detailed. The Hooben E8 was actually not a bad tank mechanically other than it used plastic on plastic wheels/suspension which quickly wore out. The electronics were trash too.

I queried Toucan, but all they would say is that it is a new manufacturer. I looked for AF Models, but didn’t find any sites. Maybe DKLM will get one to evaluate.

On another topic, has none had success making a working gun stabilization? Putting one on the M2128 would be mighty tempting. The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!Comment

DKlM told me a gun stabilization system was made for the henglong 7.1 but was not marketed.
If your using a real radio and like a Clark system, you could use a submarine dive plane gyro, but your gun would re level after every movement. You would have to aim it up or down for each **** as it would only stay in that position as long as you held the stick there.RC tank parts and accessories I make

Thanks David!
Very cool! Is the lower hull metal and is there recoil? Question. First impression, is this a good purchase? Wanting to pull the trigger. I like the controler design.
Came across this on another site. Chinese unboxing.
