I am looking to purchase a stronger battery for my henlong 1/16 m1a2 tank. what 7000mah battery will fit in this tank?

    That’s a lot of capacity.
I use 3 or 5amp ie 3000 or 5000 mah nickel metal hydride Nimh batteries. I built a 12v 5000mah battery and my Abrams was ludicrous fast so stick to an 8.4 or 9.6v
RC tank parts and accessories I make

You can find many helpful information in this thread.
So I bought this battery, thinking the charge time must be 6 hours with the HL supplied charger.. Because the charging time of the Heng Long stock supplied 2s 7.4v 1800mAh Li-Ion battery is 3 hours with the HL supplied charger. Am I right? I normally use only Ni-MH batteries, but these li ions are much smaller and easier to

The older HL used 6S NiMH battery and changed to 2S Lithium Ion battery in current production. No matter what battery you use, the voltage is 8 volts plus/minus 0.4 volt fully charged. But the discharge rate and capacity can vary a lot. Avoid no name brand battery that advertised unrealistic capacity such as many sold on ebay.

I use home built 2S or 2S2P Li-Ion battery packs in my HL tank because I can use name brand battery cells with honest capacity rating and built-in protection circuit. I do not use LiPo on RC tank for the lack of protection circuit despite they are much cheaper.
