Barrel on promotion version not firing BBs

There's more to it than just a barrel.

If I bought a model like this, I would be just as frustrated. The main thing is the feeling of losing the most important function – shooting BBs! It’s ridiculous that the company doesn’t provide a replacement barrel. At least there should be an option to buy it separately or upgrade!

It did not come with BBs… I’m gonna get some.

Did the BB solve your problem? You can walk in any local hobby shop and get the BB.

I’m disappointed in this Sturm III 7 promotion version not being able to fire BB’s - which is why it was brought. The box states it can but a sticker states not available on this model😔. Can I get a replacement BB enabled barrel? Any other options available?

If getting your own BB did not solve your problem, return the promotional version and get the upgrade version for $50 more instead. It is BB and IR enabled.

Thanks for those who provided advise. My ordered BBs arrived and the tank works fine - shoots them out anazingly.

anyone put a laser in/on their tank to assist with aiming?

I did. Don't expect much aside from novelty value. There won't be any ruby red glowing beam like on tv, just a red dot. The 6V lasers don't put out much light, invisible in sunlight. Also, they won't be giving you any accurate aim point, since the bb's shoot wild, and they drop after a few yards. That said, indoors it's fun to see the dot where you point the gun. I connected mine to the LED2 Aiming Light circuit so if I pressed the B button without the A button also, the light would come on. Would I do it again on any other tanks? ....maybe...
