Not available on the EU store for some time, I ordered it from the US store for France, flying with OMPHobby M2 & M1 plus an ALZRC 380 at the moment, pretty curious and impatient to check the quality of this new bird.
Hope that I will receive it soon :)
I will post some detailed photos when I will receive it.Comment

Had the tail fin missing. Other than that, it's a good looking model, dug all through the box, and packaging, could not find the part, sent a service request ticket.1 PhotoComment

ok, so Im confused here, I did everything by the manual and bought 4s 2200 packs to fly this, and it will barely get off the ground, and the head speed sounds slower than some of the videos I watched. I noticed that in the initial discussion post (I seen it after I attempted to test fly) they (Motion) are calling for 6s? So is there anything i need to be aware of to fly 6s ( Gov settings or anything)? Do I need to swap the ESC?Comment

What ESC is in it? If it’s the HobbyWing 40A, you’ll need to swap over to the 60. The Airwolf is the heaviest of this series due to the retract system, and needs the extra headspeed. I flew mine on 6S., albeit with the gov dialed down substantially. The Huey as AS350 did fine on 4S though.ok, so Im confused here, I did everything by the manual and bought 4s 2200 packs to fly this, and it will barely get off the ground, and the head speed sounds slower than some of the videos I watched. That makes since to me, thanks for the knowledge, I knew something was needed, as it just didn't seem like it had the grunt, and yes it has the stock 40AComment

One other thing you could try first.. See if you can get a higher tooth count pinion to bump up the headspeed. Tons of Trex 450 pinion options out there, just make sure they are for the straight cut gears.Comment

I just received my airwolf, 450 size and I have not been able finish the build because there was no owners manual or quick start manual in the box it arrived in. I contacted customer service, they sent me an email istructions for a generic flysomething 450, which does not tell me how to make the electronic connections or binding the helicopter and flybarless / receiver system. I am at 'stop' and cannot move forward. Can anyone help me?Comment

Regarding the: "Rotorscale 450 is underpowered on 4S batteries" issue, you may find a couple of my posts to be useful: here and here. The first (HobbySquawk) post discusses how this happened, and the 2nd (RCGroups) post discusses the details of how to setup a proper power system for the 450 class heli mechanics employed on the Rotorscale 450 (i.e. the Align 450 SportS V1).ok, so Im confused here, I did everything by the manual and bought 4s 2200 packs to fly this, and it will barely get off the ground, and the head speed sounds slower than some of the videos I watched. And success! I got her up and hovering around very smooth and stable. I'm using the flight controller from the 470 rtf collection, took me a bit to figure out making the compass work, but once that was locked in man she flys smooth as silk.Comment

I believe I got about 5 min with a 6S 1300, but it’s been a while. Sold the Airwolf a few years ago and bought the 600 Superscale kit. Glad you’ve got it flying well!Comment
