I have two Phonixtec 600s, a Bell 206 and a MD 500. I was wondering if anyone has heard if parts are available yet. I called 3 months ago and was told a shipping container was on its way.

Does anyone know of another make/model of 600 size heli that is available and will work in Roban UH-1 600 size??
I went with the 600 but now wishing I did the 800 which comes with all the mechanics.
as of now I have a real nice (but expensive) static UH-1N model that’s as far as I can go with no donor 600.
I can’t seem to find anyone else who sells the phoneixtech 600ESP. Motion RC could only tell me to click link and enter email to be notified if back in stock, and no idea if/when they will be 🙁

Yeah your kind of bummed, one reason why I got rid of my 600 Bell 212 civilian version, I found the 600 was more work than the big ones and the parts are hard to come by, I wish I would have done my research first as well but I had a 600 ESP ready to go so I went with it anyway, had to search around for a elevator shaft and parts to change the elevator servo and a swash plate guide, it was little things like that, so I sold it. My next project I went with the 700 and 800 size and yes way more expensive but worth it, they come with everything needed for the build as for assembly.Originally posted by DLHam3463 View PostDoes anyone know of another make/model of 600 size heli that is available and will work in Roban UH-1 600 size??

Well I found out from someone’s reply to a post that Motion RC Europe does the the 600 ESP in stock. Contacted them and lo and behold they do have, and would sell to me on USA.Originally posted by DCORSAIR View Post

will be here next Wednesday the 15th!!!! Even with shipping price was not too bad. I guess the USA and Europe branch’s don’t communicate???
Anyway from now on 700 or 800 scale.

Well it’s shipped (600ESP) and has Wednesday set as delivery; so far so good!!Originally posted by DCORSAIR View PostI tried to get one of the 800 size helis shipped and was told no they won't ship to the US, maybe because it was just a pod/boom kit?
Also you may find that they don't include all the spacers needed for mounting the frames, good luck on that one..
I am good on spacers between Roban kit, what’s in the 600ESP and a few extras I bought just in case!!!

I got the Spektrum SkyID module and set it up to run off a 9V battery. I just use Velcro so I can move between models.Originally posted by Offroadingk9 View PostI recently purchased a fly wing Huey UH 1 And it does not have remote ID is there a module to plug and play remote ID or what are the simplest recommendations thank you in advance

Well, got the motor from Motion RC for the 600ESP (for my Roban UH-1). It’s a Scorpion HKIV 4025-1100Kv.
The pinion that came with kit is correct diameter for the motor but does not fit up on the shaft to allow set screw to hit flat spot on shaft. Seems the pinion should have bore all the way through??

Ugh. Well another surprise. Feel like I am scratch building versus a kit. Well good experience but next will be a 800 or other type kit which has all needed pieces and designed all together.Originally posted by DCORSAIR View PostWell unfortunately sometimes you have to custom fit those, I've had to do several myself, cut the shaft down the size you need and make a new flat spot.

Let me know if you get that to work, I haver tried to do that but those pinion gears are hard stuff and I could never get one straight, its really no big deal to cut the shaft and dremel a flat spot. I haven't bought a Scorpion motor in awhile but I think you can get replacement shafts if you mess up, you might want to check on that before you cut it though.Originally posted by DLHam3463 View PostAll it needs is the closed end opened up to allow gear to slide up on shaft.
so may try that…..

Well, it worked out well. Chucked it up in drill press and opened up closed end.Originally posted by DCORSAIR View Post
