    Bob -
What is the current policy concerning parking in the grass and using small pop-up shelters near the flight line during the event?

    Might impact potential vehicle load-planning!!

My interest in attending is DEFINITELY growing... : )

Chief many attendees setup their own pop-up. We have plenty of room that allows you to backup toyour space as there are over 42 parking spaces along the flightline. We have an RV/camping area at the east end of the field if you want to stay on-site.

            Cool -
            Appreciate the info!

Hmm, I wonder how much gear I can squeeze in & on a Ford Escape for the road trip...?

If I can fit a 1700mm wingspan twin 80mm A-10, 1600mm wingspan Spitfire, and an 80mm Avanti in the trunk and backseat of a Toyota Camry with room to spare for another plane, batteries, and a passenger, I'm sure a Ford Escape can fit plenty enough to make the road trip worth it! Robert puts on quite an event.

Bob I've never been to this event, how do most people handle charging?

There is 120V power at the field. Some larger users bring generators since the power is a bit limited in total capacity. We've been known to kick a breaker or two!

It's also not where we camp by the way so if you are camping you need to provide your own power if desired.

Yeah. I'm excited to come. I've been out of the hobby for far too long. I've never attended a jet event but I had a lot of fun when I went to SEFF years ago. I was one of the EDF guys there since this was before the days of PNP jets with retracts!!! Crazy what you can get now for the price.
Of course I know I will be humbled by the craftsmanship and skill I will see from some of the builds. Hopefully I'll leave with some sound advice and some little known tips for being a better builder. That would make it worth wild.

It will be great to see you at the event. We have such a great time! I've often thought about going to SEFF again, just not sure it's a good jet environment, especially with the faster jets.
