Oside, thanks for posting such an inspiring Tigercat. The exhaust's coloration especially looks very realistic to my eyes. Yellow, brown, black, with nice gradations between them and their mixed tones.

That my friend is Awesome. I would love to know how you did your raised rivets. I know I've seen how the Boozers do there's with a pen and do dots, but I the the raised look you have.

I was looking through this thread finally... and it’s interesting what you have done. Pretty cool! I’d like to know how hard is is to work with the VQ type coverings as in cutting and flying and painting. It’s not a VQ but the only Mosquito that I can find is making its way to them and it seems the same construction. I’m so tempted to buy it and make some mods!
    thanks for any info!

ID:	189807 Finally got a picture of an airbrush painting I did over 20 years ago, for my Dad. He was one of those who was too good at what he did and his CO kept him back as an Instructor. Mom said it nearly broke his heart not to get to fly a jet. When I learned that, I decided he need to have one of his own.

The international orange was easy but the different tones of grey was a challenge! I masked everything off using 3M sticky notes which worked amazing! Callie Graphics came through as usual with the decals. Still have yet to fly it due to servo issues and time. I am about to start of a 600 size UH-1N which should be MUCH easier as the one I am doing is about 95% international orange. I may try to weather the huey but will leave the Herc as is.
IP3 - Nice job. I wish my first shot at things turned out that good! LOL:Cool:
