any news if motion will be carrying the Blackhorse models 45cc chipmunk? I need a new airframe for my ngh38cc, my esm bu181 was lost today on maiden. I really don't want to have to buy it from England.

Yes, they are really quite nice Jets. I'm still blown away with the Mig-29 and how good it looks. The only issue is the execution of the LE flaps was not the best, but they can simply be fixed closed as they are mostly a scale novelty and not necessary. The EF looks really rad and i love the color scheme!

What are you running for power in the MIG? I think the cockpit detail is pretty nice in most of them too.

I've not flow it yet, but my current plan is 2X WeMo-EVO HET 650-1135kv on 12S 3700. It should be 1:1 thrust or better with okay flight time. I may first try a 6S 6000 setup as they fly very well with 6S, just not "FULL FULCURM" like they do on a light 12S setup.
The cockpit looks great for a casual scale person. the pilot is a bit of a funny bobble head character...but this is meant to be a great stand-off scale model that is very light for its size!

Glad to see you guys here. Welcome to Hobby Squawk!Originally posted by Merry Boozer RC View PostSo excited to be building the Storch over at the Merry Boozer RC YouTube Channel. This kit is absolutely amazing. The way they printed all the panel lines and inspection hatches on this model make it absolutely stunning. Be watching for all the videos to come.

Looks like the BH models are moving pretty well - over half the selection brought in now show out of stock! Any word on when the next batch will arrive, and what might be included?
I'll be honest: there are a number of BH models that sorely tempt me. It'd be best for my wallet if they DON'T bring in the Hawker Typhoon, any of the Sea Furies or the Albacore. :)

Hope to hear positive action on this soon - the person that provided the response should not even be allowed to issue such a reply. Keep us posted and march up that ladder to someone with more intelligence and tact.Originally posted by Terminater007 View PostWell I received another Blackhorse Model here in the Land Down Under a BH-166 Fairey Albacore

Black Horse is a small factory. Chances that we can keep everything in stock all the time will likely be 0. They prefer to take their time and produce a very high quality airplane with expert employees. They don't want to expand and use new employees who may not be true artisan craftsman and they don't want to rush. I can understand and personally I prefer a high quality plane to a high volume plane with questionable quality. The next shipment of Black Horse planes just left the factory today. It should be here in about 40 days or so. The planes in this shipment are the exact same as the ones on our website with a a surprise or two (no, not the DO-335).Originally posted by CF-105 View PostLooks like the BH models are moving pretty well - over half the selection brought in now show out of stock! At the same time I ordered the replenishment of the existing models, I placed a second order for new models which are not on our website. I don't have an ETA for that second order and I don't want to say which new planes I ordered as I don't know what is going to get produced and shipped or when they are going to ship. Ideally, I want to have just about every plane Black Horse makes but it is going to be a very slow very long process. Again, they are a small, low volume, high quality factory who can't pump out endless amounts of planes but I know I will enjoy seeing each plane come in even if it is not as often as we would all like.

Thanks for the update Tom. Was hoping the Do-335 would be on the way. Quality over quantity is a good thing with wood ARFs for sure. There is so much more that goes into a wood ARF than most foam PNP planes.Originally posted by Tom View Post

Thanks for the post, Tom!
The more I read about BH the more I want to try their planes. Small, quality focused with more than “garden variety” offerings appeals to me (if they are taking suggestions, I’d almost kill for a Boulton-Paul Defiant, say 20cc size or so).
Counting down the days till the next shipment arrives!

Good question CF-105. Tom did mention, back on Sept 12th above, that a surprise or two should have come in with the restocking order. Waiting to see what they might be.Originally posted by CF-105 View PostSo I see some planes are back in stock. Are there any new arrivals, and we’re just waiting for them to appear on the Motion website?
Still waiting for the Do-335 and one other model later on down the road. Once those two are in the hangar, other BH models will be picked up. Several on my radar.
