It's been a couple weeks ago. But here's a video I made of Marc's Albatross he built. Lots of parts and pieces he made to scale. Enjoy....

hay tony, we are going tomorrow if u can join us. 10am

went yesterday, fall is here, frost on the grass. it warmed up fast to 60F i flew the dolphin. trimmed for five clicks from full tilt. flight ended after flight two because the motor sounded bad in the air and only got worse on the ground then locked up. once i got it home and took the Aeolian 4250-600 apart the bell had unscrewed. i loc-tited it back together. if i did not bend the bell while tightening or tighten it to much to hit the magnets its fixed. find out tomorrow.

I've been getting out to a park with an asphalt runway lately and am really enjoying taking off and landing (my usual Achilles heel) the EDF's on asphalt vs grass. May not go back to my regular grass park until the winter slows the grass growth down, even though I've upgraded all the EDF fans and put the largest nose wheels on I could.

Outstanding, assuming you have some float planes! At least there's no gators.

Unfortunately, over the last 2 years the grass has been taken over with weeds and our lawn company just can't cut it below like a inch, so the majority of my EDF's (even though all have upgraded fans and some larger nose wheels than stock) either have trouble getting off or can't get off at all, especially in the summer when the grass grows knee high in a day. My flying buddy RudyD54 has yet to be able to fly his B1 or B2 and some of his EDF's, what a pain. We're exploring ways to correct it, but in the meantime I'm flying EDF's at Markham. Forgot how nice it was to make a smooth easy take-off on asphalt, and save a little battery juice along the way. At AMP's, the hardest part of flying has been the take-off (which sounds completely insane), so I'm planning on flying on asphalt a lot more, and it also helps fine tuning my landing techniques, as grass is just too forgiving.

I flew my new DJI Mini 4 Pro camera quad. Very impressed with the image quality and it weighs under 250g so is exempt from RID requirements.
