Seems like a waste of beer! How about a C-17 that can air drop in a 6-pack instead? ;)

you guys are doing a great job with all the new planes, keep up the good work !
WRT 64mm I really like my panther with the 4 cell setup. Simple, light on maint., fast, and a cart resolves the launch issues. Lots of bang for the buck and it makes it easier to bring an additional plane to the field, shes fun to fly- keeps your attention :o)

While each arrival seems long in arrival, the results are always popular...mostly.Originally posted by Alpha View Post'Tis not a turbine this time, T-Cat ol' friend. Although I'm certain someone will make it so...
And prop planes are never too far away, either, friends. Since the Corsair we brought in over a dozen Balsa birds, plus four prop jobs to help fill in some categories where we were lacking, plus built out our Helo category and Accessories category, plus a growing Surface category. But more warbirds are never too far away. It just takes time to roll through the cycle. "Something for everyone".
Keep it up - May have an M-600 prototype soon as foam test formers are about to begin cutting. ;oD

They said on FB that the new EDF will likely be announced this Friday!!Originally posted by andrew_flyguy View PostSince Alpha mentioned that he wouldn’t be surprised if some converts the EDF into a turbine, more likely an 80 or 90mm than 70. But I’m probably reading too much into this - and I’ve been reading too much into this since the pic of the box. Been second guessing myself that it could be a broad 2020 tease in general, and not for an unveiling on or very near NYD (hoping it’s the latter!!)

Many years ago, when I still wore the uniform and worked on the Radar/Nav systems on C-141 Starlifters, we sent one of our aircraft out to the annual Volant Rodeo competition for airlifters. One of the "events" was airdrop accuracy, and the judges for one of the airdrops parked their jeep right at the target, figuring no one would hit that close to the target. We got to see the photo of the loaded pallet sitting atop the now-smashed jeep, with a couple of guys looking at it with expressions of, "how the hell did THAT happen?!?"Originally posted by Valkpilot View Post
(And, I won't be surprised if the Flite Test guys air drop one of the RC tanks soon....)

Dear Alpha, because of this announcement coming tomorrow, one of these sprayers is not getting the the new aileron bearings it really needs(guy who flies it wouldn't notice anyway). Instead, my credit card will be poised to purchase whatever the heck this new jet is. Even if I don't need another T-33. Down here we fly by the seat of our pants, even if we ain't wearing none anywho. You just bring it on and have that order page warmed up. You're all first after me.

dutchwhite001 I appreciate your support, Dutchman! That means a lot. Although, "flying without pants" sounds hazardous, my friend, please avoid cold metal seats.
As I always say with every release, we're trying to widen access to the RC hobby in general. "Something for everyone". With every release, I have accepted the fact that most people's expectations won't be met --it is statistically improbable because there are ~20 categories of products and only 12 months in a year. Accordingly, the likelihood of one's preferred category being released in a given year AND that one's preferred model within that category being released, is... unlikely. But, through it all, I continue to hope and believe that as RC pilots with the common goal of spreading our hobby, we can ALL champion the release of new products from a healthy RC company. Such things are becoming rarer these days, so to me, any new product, from any RC company, is worth cheering.
To all of us, I would ask we please consider:
If the Airliner wasn't your cup of tea, that's fair --try forwarding the link to someone you know who may want one.
If the L-39 wasn't your unicorn, and neither was the Corsair, or the Dora, or the Havok, I'm sure you know someone who may be more interested.
If balsa is too big, gas is too loud, EDFs are too fast, tanks are too scary, and helicopters are too helicopter-ey... there's still lots of other RC wares to enjoy.
If the Su-30 or Razorback or Grumman Albatross or Grand Tundra or P-61 weren't your fancy, I imagine there are others who have been waiting for one for years and it's their turn to be excited.
To anyone and everyone whose "ideal" plane is produced, whenever that happens, I celebrate you.
To everyone whose "ideal" plane is not produced, I say, there's always next time, and in the meantime there's lots more out there.

Well said Alpha, you guys have produced just about every EDF that I like, thank you for that, will have to say though, the big A-10 has to be the best of them all, even though I have sold most of my EDF jets and have returned to big scale helis, I still will always keep an A-10 in my hangar.Originally posted by Alpha View Postdutchwhite001 I appreciate your support, Dutchman!
