I have rolled and looped mine a few times. It takes a lot to achieve these "stunts". Needs lots of throw and lots of space and planning. I don't do this anymore. I think it stresses the wings quite a bit, especially now that the plane is quite old.

    Hi PeteF440
Of you didn’t install a gyro, you’ll be much happier after you do. Or…perhaps your Rx has a gyro function.

She tail waggles a lot in turbulence. The gyro stops that characteristic.

Also, there’s lots of great info in this forum. It is strongly suggested you read the posts.

Hello Gents. Just embarking on a P8 Poseidon conversion of my new AL37. I've found all the 3D print parts for the work, except - where did you guys get your AGM84D harpoons from (wing mounted missiles) and at what scale?

I've seen a few on Cults and Thingiverse but they're designed for smaller plastic kits.

    TIA
    Nick

Thanks for your offer......! Up to now, the decision has not yet been made, which sheme I prefer. But I am sure it was a great promotion for freewing in the past, that you could use the old windows for every livery. This development has been terminated. To cut out the windows is no option for me.......

I just had a close up inspection of my WestJet AL-37 where the windows and doors are. These were the original decals that came with the model AND the ones that were sent from Callie are the same - NO white "stripe", just the windows and doors by themselves. I can't remember which ones I used on the model but I still have a complete set of the windows and doors. If shipping wasn't so horrendous to Europe, I'd just throw them in a large mailing tube and send them to you (I'll never need them). I think Callie can send them much cheaper as she uses some kind of bulk mailing.

Mine being red. Really. Really really. Looked horrible I'm sure a local vinal cutter can also do it. I'm going to the hard ware store to get a oval shaped punch

I see now. Does the white "stripe" blend in with the white of the plane? I'm not sure where you can get the "old" windows decal. Perhaps you can get them from Callie Graphics. I remember when I bought my WestJet decals from Callie, they came with a duplicate set of windows. Perhaps she can sell you just the window decals.
Other than this, I can only see carefully cutting out all the windows and doors and using the rest of the decal as a template for spacing.

I can't visualize what you mean by this "white stripe". Can you post a picture? Since the white stripe is behind the windows and the background is also white, can't you just cut them out?

    Hi all,
I have the white version in my hangar to make my own sheme. Now I noticed, that the window Decals were changed. Behind the windows is a white strip. The old Decal version was better, because the windows were without a white colorstrip behind them. Someone an idea, where to get the old windows?

So cool. I originally wanted to do a Disney themed 737 but the whole thing was too daunting for me so I just did the "plain" WestJet version.
