The mold prices on the 80mm are astronomical. Trust me, it's not like Freewing doesn't want to release an updated 80mm version. Personally, as much as I would want a 80mm with all these upgrades and latest tech, I am happy they are at least offering something that still gives you similar presence with a less-taxing wing load and more aerodynamic wing. I want one!

Well was wanting one but not red, hoping they do this one with improved foam on leading edges around battery hatch like they been doing on there other planes. For that price I pass!

Yes! New wings can be retrofitted according to Wes on the videoOriginally posted by freakbrother View PostWhy a V2 so soon after the initial release? Meanwhile the 2015 version of the 80mm, which could really do with a makeover, continues.
Does the new wing fix the tip-stall issue? If so, can it be retrofitted to the V1?

My opinion is that the 64 hasn't sold well (for the reported wing tip stalls maybe) while the 80 is still selling well. I'm waiting for a V2 80 with 2150's, 100A reversing ESCs and the rescue decal not upside down.

A V2 of the 2024 released 64mm F14 instead of the 2015 released 80mm F14........someone make it make sense!!! Please do the V2 twin 80mm F14 already!!!!

Originally posted by Evan D View PostI would first calibrate the ESCs, assuming you haven't. The only other possibility is maybe one of the ESC servo connections is in backwards.
But pretty sure it's ESC calibration.

Originally posted by Evan D View PostI would first calibrate the ESCs, assuming you haven't.

;-)Originally posted by Evan D View PostYou got the 80mm not the 64mm....
