    The mold prices on the 80mm are astronomical. Trust me, it's not like Freewing doesn't want to release an updated 80mm version. Personally, as much as I would want a 80mm with all these upgrades and latest tech, I am happy they are at least offering something that still gives you similar presence with a less-taxing wing load and more aerodynamic wing. I want one!

    Yes! New wings can be retrofitted according to Wes on the video

    My opinion is that the 64 hasn't sold well (for the reported wing tip stalls maybe) while the 80 is still selling well. I'm waiting for a V2 80 with 2150's, 100A reversing ESCs and the rescue decal not upside down.

    A V2 of the 2024 released 64mm F14 instead of the 2015 released 80mm F14........someone make it make sense!!! Please do the V2 twin 80mm F14 already!!!!

    Why a V2 so soon after the initial release? Meanwhile the 2015 version of the 80mm, which could really do with a makeover, continues.

    Does the new wing fix the tip-stall issue? If so, can it be retrofitted to the V1?

    Meine F-14 Twin 64mm habe ich nun am vergangenen Samstag eingeflogen. Der Jet fliegt sehr gut, aber bei voller Spannweite ist er anfällig auf Strömungsabriss, wenn man den Landeanflug zu langsam macht. Ich habe diese Eigenschaft hoch oben ausgiebig getestet und habe Respekt, so zu landen. Ich lande den Vogel immer in der Mittelstellung der Flügel, ich habe die Schwenkflügel auf einem 3-Stufen Schalter und kann 100/50/0% Schwenkstrecke einstellen. In der Mittelstellung der Flügel, also halb gepfeilt, kann man die F-14 wie eine F-16 wunderbar landen und braucht keine Angst vor Stall zu haben, auch braucht man so die Klappen nicht, da man angestellt reinkommen kann. Geht auch bei Wind sehr gut!

    Danke für den Hinweis, das habe ich noch nicht gemacht.... häufig sucht man gleich zu weit. Das könnte wirklich das Problem sein, ich werde schauen.

    Ich habe Gestern in meiner neuen F-14 64mm den Empfänger installiert und nach dem Binden festgestellt, dass der Motor rechts keinen Muks macht, linker Antrieb ist in Ordnung, der rechte geht nicht. Kennt jemand den Grund oder hatte das auch? Ich muss jetzt rausfinden, ob es am Regler oder am Motor liegt.
