I have 3D printed TVs on both my 6 and 8S and added wing tip lights to my 8S so my weight wouldn’t be applicable.

I wonder how the weight of the V2 differs.

I was visiting Tim at Extreme Flt last week he gave me some new Battery straps to try with rubber built into the strap for better grip. I cut the slots in the F22 battery tray and fitted them. This made for a much more secure placement.
Looks like my batteries are 1100 grams with the connectors. Still struggling with reverse thrust on the Radiomaster TX16s I can get it to work. Throttle hold can not override the reverse function. If anyone has an idea chime in.

According to RC Castles specs, the V1 6s and 8s PNP both weight the same @2950g. VS 3200g for 8s V2.
        V2 6s is 100g less @3100g vs 8s @3200g.

Has anyone used a Nexus-XR with Inav on this and can give some pointers as to the PIDs?

The day they made this plane available, I sold my V1 and immediately ordered this V2. Here's a link to a short video of one of my landings during its maiden flight day. So far, I'm very happy with this jet. It is beautiful and flies great. The maiden flight day video is on my YouTube channel.

Because the Nexus-XR has the ELRS receiver integrated with the FC, the ICM-42688-P is an excellent sensor, you can tune the PIFF gains to work across multiple speed ranges and I can use all the other goodies like GPS guided RTH and I can use the mavlink support to integrate this with other stuff. But it's all good, I'll just start with low values and use autotune at medium speed, then dial in the speed-based gain reduction at high speeds.

I went 10s in mine had to modify the battery area to get aft CG how I like it but talk about a flier. Have heard many complaints oh it’s a V 1.5, yea there’s a few things I’d liked to seen plastic surround on the hatch area and of course illuminated canopy but look at what they did. Beefed up nose gear formation and marker lights still close or the same as the original. Not sure about you all but mine feels lighter than my V1. Zero complaints here FreeWing Motion killin it in the EDF department

And what motor? I’ve also ran JetFan in mine with different motors on 8,10 and 12A.

The 1500 is a pretty hot set up on 10S. I bet it flys awesome!

I had it in my V1 that I flew until the front wheel spokes broke on taxi!! She wasn’t destroyed but figured why not and the V1 I had GPS’d at 170mph. Now I did do leading wing edges from the B1 that added a good amount of speed.

Flew the maiden Flt today with the 8s using SMC 5500 / 6400 LHIV charged to 4.35. After 3.5 min still had 64% battery left.
I found the stock settings to weak on Stabs and to strong on Aileron deflections. The sound from this setup sounds Turbine like.
While I am using the Lemon 10 channel and have setup the Gyro for AER I didn't turn it on.
