I am lucky enough to own several Freewing EDF jets, including a V1 Avanti (Red/black/white version), which has well over 100 flights on. Mostly I fly with quality 6000mAh packs.
Once I learned how to slow the aircraft down properly for landing (it is a great Tutor), it quickly became my favourite EDF.
I would love the V2 Avanti, but a question to those that know, is the upgrade in performance & handling worth the outlay over the V1?
It's a shame that Freewing couldn't update the Wing fixing to be screw-less, as they have done recent designs.

Hola!!!!

    saludos pilotos!!!

I've added an 18th nozzle style to the set for the Avanti. This one is styled after the P&W F100 engine's nozzle on the F-15.

Dress up the rear end of your Avanti.

The rear of the FW Avanti S looks unfinished. Here is a set of nozzles for the 80mm Avanti S, in a variety of styles from civilian noise abatement to MiG to F-4 to f-15, F-16, variable geometry to F-35 stealth, and fantasy.Print parameters are not important - choose infill and wall thickness according to weight needs.

It's the aft end of the battery tray. Look for the foam pocket with the same size

You gotta picture? Does it have a small pre-drilled hole at each end? This may be for holding the ESC in place.

Avanti. Best all around sport jet made. If you then want a more pattern ship type sport plane Zeus or Vulcan depending on budget. Want more of a 3D fun plane, the new Ares.

Sounds good. Maybe make it touch nose heavier for the first flight.

    Hello again!
Tomorrow I'm going to attempt to re-maiden my repaired Avanti. Planning on two lunchtime flights with 6S 4000mAh 65C packs (approx. 650g each).
For the tail sit test - if the plane passes this test (sits on the tail and slightest push on the nose brings it down) can a newbie safely take off without a gyro, or will it be super sensitive on the elevator?
This is the first flight after repairs so I want to take off without gyro and enable it later in the flight when I have some altitude.
I'll be using 60/80/100 rates all at 35% expo (NX10).

    Hi,
How Can i find out the serial number of Freewing Avanti S V2 airplane that i bought from motionrc? i wrote motionrc more than five times, but i could not get an answer. I need to submit this serial number to the cıvıl aviation center to enroll the airplane. Moreover, since the airplane is at the custom now, i can not check on itself. To complete custom clearance process, i need to submit serial number to the civil aviation center in Türkiye, and then i can get the airplane from the custom. Please help me.
