Anyone that might have loose stab screws for the horizontal over repeated assembly could replace the plastic threaded inserts with these 4mm wood inserts with no modification. Knock the plastic ones out and then use a 4mm allen to screw these in. I did also find plastic thumb screws on Amazon
just like the stock ones incase those are needed. Being metal threads, im still able to secure the screws using the stock plastic screws with no worries of backing out.

Well i must say it is well built to start with. I lost the the one in the pics above due to my absent mindless on the radio battery LiFe going too low and it went in just as i was turning to final to land. Lesson learned. The second has had its maiden and im finishing out the details and graphics currently. The power system is listed in this thread and also in a thread on RCG. I went overboard on the retracts but i think they look the best for stock hardware.
I want to give a shout out to MRC support here as in the second one, i think one of the booms was build either on a Friday or Monday as when i landed on its maiden, the main gear mount broke as it was missing some triangle stock that is used to give the gear plate better support and additional load area was found missing. MRC sent another new boom in short order so im glad they still had stock available.
I have made additional decals to add to the Callie Graphics and as seen i changed the scheme a little with only covering changed being the top of the wing. Be happy to give further details and pics for you if you like.
Special note, i used MA 15x7-3bl on the first one and it was a little lacking so on #2, i went with 16x10-3bl and feel better. They are counter-rotating also.

Hi,just decided to buy and fly the Nexa 0V10, Anyone have any comments or tips for building or flying this beautiful bird. I know war birds are a different animal, but I loved it from day one and don't want to get burned since war birds are traditionally HEAVY METAL. Also interested in any feedback on the quality and building of the kit.

The love the model. The only thing I would say is that Military aircraft do not shine. Just wish it had a dull finish. To represent authentic appearance

Well its been 5 yrs in the making and finally much closer to a maiden now. Been putting more than usual details on this but that white top just screamed for panel lines and nomenclature. More to come as i do some final touches and add a few more items.

I am looking to purchase this kit but want to use a 6S system vice the 4S. I am new to the electric side so wondering if the recommended bundle on the Motion RC page will support a 6S system.

Has anyone found some better landing gear for the ov10 bronco 1800 mm. I have both broncos and the smaller version suspension is better than he 1800mm. If anyone has tried different gear other than the xwave please let me know

    Sam,

Those are the Hangar 9 nacelles wich i modified to look scale, you can find the files for the guns in post #965, Tim made them... If you need someone to print them, you will have to search locally, and do it with a resin printer for best results

    Hope this helps,

    Didier

I get your point, i have to take it apart each time i go flying, it now takes me about 15 minutes to assemble, i think it's worth it if i can get at least 3 flights...

The large hangar 9 is indeed a better design, but i don't have the means to transport it when it's assembled minus the outside wing parts, it's just too big..So i'm aware i'll be assembling at the field again, at least for 15 minutes... i'll take it..

thanks for the file, will report back later...

I hated to loose it , but don’t think I would build another , it flew nicely but was a pain in the butt to transport, awkward shape with wing panel on the booms and the center section with the winglets , I would prefer a design where the center and both booms stayed together, with outer wing panels removable, that way you could leave on the gear, the hangar9 is beautiful and a better design but have been on back order for ages now … and a significant investment, oh well so it goes. feel free to share the files with anyone who needs them!

that's sad to hear, you'll make another one ? they fly great, that's why i bought the Hangar 9 one as well.

It looks great !! i will now search someone with a resin printer, because sanding on such a part is out of the question i guess

In the meantime there is some interest on Rc groups for these guns as well, do you mind if i share this information with them?

thanks again, will let you know when i have results!

    regards,

    Didier
