So... I'm new here and wanted to post a pic of my cat with the Here Kitty Kitty! Callie Graphics. It's the one Stew Dawson Flew at Chino. :ghost:

I am probably late to the party but here goes. I love this plane, however, throw the decal set it comes with away, you will save a lot of time. I can’t believe they send such a cheesy decal set with such a nice plane.Leave a comment:

Here's how I installed my receiver. I turned the fuselage module around so the wiring could reach the rear of the receiver. It's a receiver that has to be mounted facing the front of the aircraft so the wires have to go around to the rear of it. I stuck the receiver down on the sticky pad it came with and then I added a piece of some squishy foam onto the bottom of the rear of the canopy that will lightly press down onto the receiver to keep it more secure. I wasn't comfortable relying on just the sticky pad to hold down the stabilizing receiver. The receiver is mounted just far enough forward to allow access for making adjustments to gains, and one of the antennas can point down vertically to the bottom of the plane and the other one points horizontally to the rear of the plane. Looks like it's going to work pretty good.Leave a comment:

Here's a couple of pictures of a Tigercat that I saw in Idaho last year. I was kind of smitten by the kitten to say the least. I think I may go with new motors, master airscrew props with spinners like this bird has. I can avoid all of the hub issues and power up the speed however much I think I want to that way and it will still look fabulous and run smoothly. Mine should get here later this week and I'll try out the stock setup to see what I think. Check out the prop ground clearance on that thing.Leave a comment:

Thank you again, I will be doing your alteration... Today, I am purchasing the kit and all the extra landing gear "stuff" for my grass field. JackLeave a comment:

easyjack Hello Jack, If you are looking to upgrade the nose gear to a oleo shock system that has a standoff scale look you may be interested in this mod I did over three years ago

Thank you "WC".. I knew it was too good to be true. However I do like the wheels... I am sure the axles will need to be changed. Thank you again JackLeave a comment:

easyjack Sorry Jack, hate to disappoint ya but it won't fit which is the reason no one has written about doing so
Welcome to the Squawk also
Here's proof of the above claim:
Since I had the FL before losing it to the infamous incinerator and replaced it with the FMS,
here is the stock FL nose strut held in front of the FMS strut with top of strut at the trunnion.
The FMS is a little over an inch longer at the axles

Has any one put the FMS front landing gear in place of the stock gear? All I want to do is bolt on the landing gear with out using FMS servo and landing gear assembly. Thank you JackLeave a comment:
