My flap rod was too short as well. I had ordered another set of pushrods just for spares, so I just switched it out, but it was one of the few times the pushrod were the wrong length. I think I did open a ticket, but didn't request a replacement since I had one here already!! Just wanted them to know.....

Yes, one of the flap rods was too short. Had to make a new one up. Thought i did something wrong but it was just too short.Leave a comment:

I finally got my bird bound up. Turns out to be a rookie mistake, servo plugs installed backward. I do think lowering throttle trim was a part of it as well. Anyway thanks for the help guys. One more thing, anyone have an issue with servo linkage not being long enough?Leave a comment:

I will check all my connections before I fly. I have two and never flown either. I purchased the second one because I did not like the finish on the first one. Still had too much mold release stuff on it. I just could not get the stuff off to my satisfaction.. Cat #2 was just perfect on the finish. Sometimes one just gets a bad draw.Leave a comment:

Got a call from Martin earlier today, gonna call him back as soon as I get back home. Thank youLeave a comment:

That shouldn't be a problem. I use the DX8 1st Gen and also have a DX6i and I haven't had a problem with them. As I say, get ahold of the guys at Customer Support Motion, I'll see if I can get Martin to check this thread out.

Thanks Gross. Also I’m using a older DX6i transmitter. Do you think that may be a problem for me?Leave a comment:

Hmm, here's the procedure I use. Bind plug in place, battery plugged to the ESC. Then, hold down the bind button on the radio before powering it up, continue to hold until it binds, four beeps a pause and one more beep. Sometimes you have to be 10 feet or more away from the radio. Hope this helps.
If not, give Motion RC's support guys a call.

Still having trouble getting my f7f binded to my transmitter. Receiver flashes as if binding in progress and the motors continue to “beep” but cannot bind successfully?Leave a comment:

What 2 blade prop do you all recommend with the stock motor/battery setup for increased performance?Leave a comment:

Make sure your throttle is all the way off and drop your throttle trim right down as well. Sometimes that helps. Make sure your bind plug is in the right slot as well. If its a Spektrum receiver, they can be a B**** sometimes. The Lemon receivers bind extremely easily.

Hello I just got my new f7f assembled but I’m having some trouble with the receiver binding. If anyone could offer some trouble shooting that would be great. ThanksLeave a comment:

Thanks Presto. I agree, two blades give you more bounce for the ounce. I'll order these and the motors out when I get home from the cruise. Just not as cool as the scale three blades.Leave a comment:
