Stripping and filling in labels took time. 6 coats of polycrylic coating then primer, and now stripping and graphics. I wonder if any one knows what plane I'm doing?

Black is the easy thought but it would be cool if you could somehow paint a slightly muted and darker sky blue or smokey color that has a pearl or something that can provide a false sense of depth and various shading as you move around the model. I'll see if I can find what I am thinking...

I've seen photos of those with a greenish tint to the glass. I bet Callie could duplicate the effect by printing a transparent or translucent light green over silver vinyl.

Love your AF scheme, really nice work. I am considering one of those in an ARMY scheme from the Viet Nam era.

I am running into issues getting the Flap>Elevator mixing configured on my DX-9 with the Bind n` Fly model with a AR-636/Safe that will not connect to my AS3X programming application. I guess the mix will need to be in the Tx only but I am kinda new to doing mixes for Flap and Elevator when the transmitter thinks the Wing Type is 'Normal', Any clues how I get it set up???

Go in and change the wing type to 1 aileron and 1 flap servo since your using a Y harness. Than you be able to access the Flap menu.

ID:	79281 Good thing I flew this plane a couple of times before starting this paint job. I hate masking, but it's getting there slowly.

I just picked one up. Going to fly it for awhile, then maybe this winter. Change up the paint scheme. Those Air Force colors sure looks sharp.

Thank you. This plane is going to be such a hot seller this year, and for that reason I just wanted mine to be a little bit different at the air shows. I did fly it and it's so sweet and smooth. lucky I still have my Carbon Z Cub to fall back on till this is finished. My job just gets in the way of me finishing this faster.

You can already see my next project waiting for me. I can see now that a lot of new paint schemes can be done with this plane.

This is not perfect, but 3 ft away , she will pass inspection. Now if Callie can get the windows right I'm done.

This is all I can do for the night, have to go to work early , 3 a.m. :(Click image for larger version Name:	20170605_223359.jpg Views:	1 Size:	51.9 KB ID:	79602

It looks great! I painted the windows on my Carbon Z Cub L-4 conversion, used Rustoleum Silver.
