What tires have you been able to find? I've been looking, but haven't found anything else that I particularly liked? I would prefer rubber, but a softer foam might have to be okay?

I'm using the DuBro Cub wheels and tires. 4in. And 3-3/8 in. But I'm going with 3-3/8in. All around this Friday. The main are just a little too big. I also changed the spinner to a white DuBro 2-1/2 in. For a better look like the real plane.

Another great sunset flight tonight, just got to love flying this plane.

Thank you! Pretty sure this winter, I'm going to paint mine like what you've done. This plane has become one of my Favorites. And deserving of The Air Force colors.

Will my Tactic TTX610, 6-Channel 2.4 GHz transmitter that I got with my Sensei work with the Carbon-Z Cessna 150, 2.1m or do I need to get a Spektrum

Welcome to Hobby Squawk! Yes, if you get the PNP version without receiver and buy Tactic receivers it will.

Those window graphics are insanely awesome. I just emailed Callie about getting an exact same set. I wonder it it will come with the piece that goes on the fuselage above the battery hatch. Also, it looks like they wouldn't fit exactly over the stock silver painted "windows", so I'll probably get Home Depot to mix me up some color matched red paint and paint over the silver areas first.

Callie Graphics, is so fast! I did not expect anything from her till next week, but my wife found all my stuff for the Cessna and the A-10 in the mail box today.

Who did the green "window" center section above the battery hatch on top of the fuselage? I'm corresponding with Callie via email and she said she didn't do that piece and doesn't have the dimensions on file.

Why are your tail lights reversed? The white position light should be on the back of the rudder like the real thing. Mine is.

The thread or the airplane you don't even own, per your sig-line? But, thanks for trying anyway...

Looks like it's just green monokote trim cut to fit. Could be wrong, but just from the pics, that would be my guess. Ooor just a dang good airbrush job

Callie just emailed me and said she did actually do it. She thought I meant something else, which was weird because I sent her those exact pictures and asked her to "please make me this". LOL

If she didn't make it, I was going to take one of the decals into Home Depot and have them color match it for me. I've already had a color matched sample of the red made from the battery hatch and it's perfect. Same for other models. It's a really great service and you get a decent sized can for like four bucks.

Re-painted the front cowl and changed the nosecone, I think that it definitely made a difference with the way it looks upfront, it just looked a little odd to me with the black spinner

Welcome to Hobby Squawk, MichiganJarrad! Small changes can make a big impact on something's overall appearance. I like what you did! And I agree, it looks more natural than the stock black spinner.

Alright I've been looking at this one long enough. Going to have to pull the trigger soon. Been looking at some liveries to paint her up in...Leaning towards these...

I like all 3 but I think I am leaning towards the first one. I always liked orange and black on white. Second one is fun and very Seattle Seahawk-ish (retro) and the bottom one is sharp and clean but looks too contemporary (like a 182).

Okay I am raising this thread back from the 5 month solitary confinement sentence its been serving. LOL

I have definitely decided on the orange, black and white livery. I just bought it today so I look forward to getting it next week. Sounds like a *****cat which I would expect out of a large high wing tri-gear civil bird. Even though it's not a 172 or 182, I can learn to love this model, especially once I paint it up. Thanks t33jetman for paving the way. I will be using your window template that Callie now has. Question on CG...Is the manual's recommended what works well? I will be switching out the wheels with the Robart Straight Treaded 3.75" for the mains, and 3.25" for the nose. After I maiden and get her all trimmed out I will start the new livery process.

i've flown a bunch of these with various batteries and cg's and it doesn't seem to care. Here's a friends paint job based on one he used to fly.
