As I have stated before I will wait for Motion to stock the P-61. Some where in the business world morals are not high on the priority list. Hats off to the whole team at Motion for standing up for the high standards they practice.

    • I too am going to wait and i really want this airplane. The" other guys" dont even have parts listed. How are they going to handle warranty if they dont have parts. Who doesnt order spare props? You know the odds of needing dynam warranty are pretty good. (My b26 had a retract failure, motion had one on the way 24hrs after my email.) Strange....im more loyal to motion than i was to my ex-wife.

      • Yeah, Dynam's behavior is very disappointing. I'll only be buying one from Motion RC. And, I have a feeling that will be it for Dynam products on Motion RC.

        • Could be bad juju for Dynam. Most of the electric guys at my field are turning more and more to Motion and if they hear of this they may not buy any more Dynams. I've got three of them and the P-61 - from Motion - will probably be my last.

Here is an idea. Buy all the Dynam stuff from Motion, but send all the warranty claims to Bitgo. Flood them with their inferior products. I have a drawer full.

                • The P61 thread over on RCG kinda blew up in the past two days... I'm disappointed that not so much has been posted here. Apparently the owner of Dynam posted a big steamer. I saw where Tom wrote that he is still planning on bringing at least one batch of P61s in. So... why would anyone buy the P61 from Bitgo? Its probably not the improved version. (Apparently Bitgo isn't stocking any spare parts, which is stupid).

I'm sure that I'm not the only one who's thinking that Fliteline should just develop their own version and let Dynam pound salt. I think a large P61 with Tigercat-size motors would be awesome. If I knew that Fliteline was developing that then I would never buy the Dynam version... (hint)

                  • The only Dynam planes I will buy are ones that Motion will carry which I would think won't be many going forward, I would expect Motion to have a massive Dynam clearance sale in the near future.

Dynam has clearly pooped the bed and as far as I'm concerned they can lay in it.

                      • Thanks for the kind words everyone. We are sorry that the situation is where it is currently (or where the perception of it is), but we are working vigorously to figure out a good solution. We had to respond because we were definitely blindsided the other day as you all can imagine. A new website (and all the others) selling a model we were told we'd have exclusivity for pops up at random, only to see not only were we not first, but last, was shocking to say the least. We've just always wanted to be straightforward with the RC Community because we are RC Pilots like everyone else. Our owners started Motion RC BECAUSE the industry was a bit like the wild wild west and want to desperately change that. We'll be sure to update everyone on what we can and we would not be offended if you don't want to wait for this bird from us. Flying what you want to fly is all that matters.

As you all know by now, there's always something up our sleeve. Onwards and upwards!

                        • I was thinking hard about whether or not to get this P-61, but I think I'll pass for now seeing that Dynam has done what they did. I'm hoping FLRC is working on a larger one, 1600mm using the P-38 and Tigercat power systems. ;)

Well there is another factor for me as to why I will wait until Motion has it. It is indeed ran and own by family. Plus worst case, if they did this to cut out y'alls requests for a better product just to sell what they have. I may suggest going with as Pat says he would buy and no doubt all the rest of us in this forum and beyond would buy. That would indeed be a much higher quality Flight Line P-61.

Not too soon there are a few I want but not ready financially to buy yet before they are kicked to the curb. The only thing I might buy that is not from MRC is the New (redone) wildcat or the P51 Gunfighter from Parkzone.

                              • I AM DONE WITH DYNAM.
This breach of business ethics conducted by them goes against the values of honor that was instilled in me from my service to country and carried on afterwards throughout my civilian procurement career in DoD and commercial activities.
I was one of the early customer proponents in supporting Motions alignment with Dynam for the Waco which subsequently brought almost their full line of products.
In retrospect, it was a good move at the time but times have changed and Motions partnership with FW/FL looks to be the decisive direction.
I am in total support of Toms statement of "concentrating on making our own stuff" in his RCG Post#1141
Tom.......Forget about ordering the P-61 and put your efforts into a FL version. I can wait for what would be undoubtedly the premier version in foam of the Black Widow.
AND since the Tomcat motors are "apparently" part of the Dynam regime, guess I'm going to have to look for alternative sources for my large scale acquisitions.
Someone from Motion please tell me the skinny on Tomcat motors.

                                • This is the reason all of us here continue to be loyal customers of MotionRc. Company's like Bitgo and Dynam don't give a damn about loyalty only your money. I originally became a Motion customer because I trusted in them as a fellow veteran and the fact they were also rc pilots like me. They have never betrayed that trust and I don't believe they ever will.

Signed a Motion customer for life.
