Forgot about chinese new year. Starts the middle of next month. I think that there is no production for 3-5 weeks. Then they have to train replacements for the ones that dont come back. Could be april before any preorder. Many (most) of us are with you about the "announcement" of a new plane. Can be a real minefield. "CLICK......"

I wish Dynam would just offer the foam "kit" unpainted, no electronics. Nothing really wrong with their foam and structural reinforcements. The issues are mainly electronics and assembly at the factory. (and I would rather to not have to strip their paint to do the color schemes I want)

Ok thanks Rob. Just trying to work on my timing regarding ´´the announcement´´ that I’m adding another plane to the fleet.

Nope. Believe alpha said about a month ago it will be awhile. Really funny slovinia guy (check for link a few posts back) did an unboxing of the pre alpha version and highlighted some shortcomings. Did a flight review and the gear collapsed upon landing from lack of glue. He said someone from dynam contacted him ,said its no longer for sale and the issues will be corrected. So i would think late feb but no real info.

Have you seen these videos as well?

Really, Dynam needs to offer their models at a reduced price without retracts and let us get some that are reliable.
There are several choices including a mini air operated (air up, spring down so air fail = they come down) set that is VERY reliable.

I'm sure this is something that Alpha has requested be fixed before Motion stocks them. Just remember, the pics and vids we're seeing now are not what we will be seeing from Motion. Yes, it's the same kit, but should have many of the "issues" worked out.

Yeah not a fan of their retracts, but thank goodness Robert and his brother got that video out there and dynam seen the error of their ways and will take the chance to fix them

Only had issues with 2 Dynam models' retracts.
Me262, just unreliable in every way. I ordered some from a place that is now out of business. all metal retracts with nice metal spring loaded struts with scissor links. that cost a total of $50 for it all. VERY scale appearance. Hobby King now carries the same stuff but costs more.
Me-109 one retract jammed in the middle of going down and overloaded the BEC causing ESC burn-out. The airplane glided down and when it was found it was resting neatly in lower tree branches with just a couple of twigs poked into the foam (one wheel down, one halfway)

My Dynam Hellcat is the same way. Landing gear will only fully cycle if other control surfaces are moving or the throttle is pushed forward past 1/2.

Well it flys well...A little glue and the baby will be in the air for the second flight. Oh yeah...
